Thank You!!!...

I just wanted to take a moment to thank EVERYONE that has been so kind leaving me comments and even emailing me with such warm welcomes. They truly mean alot! We are getting ready for my daughters high school graduation tomorrow. But I am going to thank each of you personally because your comments mean so much to me, it might be late this evening but I will make sure I don't forget... Mr McDreamy will remind me :)

Dawn I am almost speechless (and after talking to me as much as we have you know that is saying alot! lol ) I am so lucky that you walked into my lifes path. You have given me my dream with my new blog and it is soo beautiful. You have such an amazing talent! You have opened up a whole new world for me! I no longer feel like an outsider looking in, but a part of such a wonderful group of woman and friends! The encouragement that I have received is just beautiful !THANK YOU Dawn, your are such a heart!

Oh btw Dawn, I meant what I said about the studio, I will be sending you the room and furniture measurements along with pictures of the whole room so you can help me with my bebe studio :) I am so glad that you like my things, I love all of the things I have seen of yours, so it kind of makes my treasures seem more so knowing you and others like them too......If you only knew that most things were curbside finds or found on Craigslist for either free or pretty much free and others are cast offs from friends and family. I have amassed these things over the years (some since I was 16, I know hoarder in training lol) Dawn, you are so right (as always :) I always knew I had some pretty things, but many were treasures long forgotten, as we have been picking thru boxes and taking things out of storage I feel like it is Christmas, almost like I am the luckiest person to be able to shop in my own lil store lol if that makes sense. But you know, I also am finding that thru the years my tastes have changed so much, I have alot of things that I am going to get rid of, they just don't " do" it for me anymore :( they are still lovely items, just no longer give me the same pleasure they did before. That kind of makes me sad, cause I love my junk lol Oh well, I have to make room for more future treasures *wink. Until next time... Rose

Tada...... Introducing our lil Pudge...

I have been wanting to post pictures of my daughters too, but well one is 18 the other is 13 and they have to have final editing on whatever I post about them, not to mention the simple fact that they will probably make me sign confindentiality contracts now that I have a blog, cause well you know, mom has no sense lol So my next logical choice to post about is our (my) lil bebe "pudge" Pudges' real name is actually Lola, but well when you see the pictures I think it says it all lol When we got pudge she was the runt of the litter and sooo tiny she was almost smaller than your hand. She got big so quik, well tiny compared to other dogs, but in spirit and love the girl is HUGE! She is under the impression that she is a tough guard dog and none of us have the heart to tell her other wise. Like I said in my profile, she aspires to be a rotweiler when she grows up :) When my girls picked her, her brothers and sisters were white, she was the only apricot one and a maltese, go figure. Her mama and dad were on the premise and although small at 4 and 6 lbs, pudge has actually stayed quite a bit smaller than her mama. Here are a few pictures of my (our) lil princess in training.....(Hey when your daughters no longer let you dress them up in frilly clothes, thank goodness for their lil loveliness.) And before anyone tells me that it is just wrong to dress her up, she digs out her clothes from her basket and brings them to you, once she is dressed she prances around and when you take them off she follows you around whimpering till you put them back on :) and she mainly wears them when it gets too chilly (smart girl)

Right before her hair cut and before we ever called her pudge.

BTW if my youngest ever lets me post her baby pics, you would swear they were related (same hair cut) lol
You know sometimes I truly wonder if they get traumatized when they get groomed :) note the following pictures.....

I forgot to mention that she is also an actress, when my daughter says "rigamortis pudge" (Sp?) she does this...Talented is she not? This was after we showed her the new hair cut lol

She was getting used to the new hair cut and loving the attention, but as cute as she was I missed her "false pudginess" So to make me feel better, I started calling her Pudge.

Cold night in a 1916 house and everyone wears jammies. Pudge bless her lil heart would actually nip at you when you tried to take them off in the morning....she is sooo a part of this family (no one is a morning person in this house) And this picture is not staged. This is one of her favorite sleeping positions whether she is on your lap or laying on the floor, you name it, she trys hugging it and goes to sleep :)

I hope you liked her lil pictures. She will now demand her own blog. Cause in her own way, she is a lil mini me. She is a true Diva in her own lil world (mind). Until next time dear friends, always remember to take a moment to just stop... breath... and smile.

My bebe studio......

Ok Dawn, Amor this is for you :)

The following pics are of what will soon be my bebe art studio, when it grows up it aspires to be just like Dawns' from The Feathered Nest :)

Please, please excuse the mess, but it is a work in progress. Lord grant me the patience and please don't let my mama see these pics lol. ( I was bought up by my abuelita (grandma) to always have on clean chonies (panties) without holes, cause you never know what might happen (getting hit by a car etc. etc.) and to Always have your house presentable when your having company) but being that you aren't physically here in my casa, hmmm does that mean showing you my mess in all its glory is ok? lol

Anyways here goes nada. (nothing)

These first 2 pics I actually like the best. No flash, Dawn I tried, I truly did, but I think you meant no flash in daylight right? These are at night lol They came out kinda sephia, I like the way they look, my messy treasures (junk) don't look as bad :) Dawn these are the things I told you My McDreamy set up on the table, I think I might just leave it like that. Without meaning too it looks purty...

Okay, the rest are with the flash and much more clear. Beware bright mess ahead :)

I love this table, it is curb treasure, already tattered and dingy, but I loves it. How could you not...

See that lil white cabinet in the corner? I bought that from a lady I met on Craiglist for $5, she has since become a wonderul friend.

This is the original wall Mr McDreamy gave me when I asked for my own lil space to create :)

Old watch makers desk. Craigslist, loves it.

The cabinet on the right was a thrift find. McDreamy thought I needed something to store all my magazines in, I think he was getting tired of all the piles that are every where :)

The apothecary chest on the left has a heartbreakingly strange but somehow so right story, that I will have to share with you sometime.

Ha, I just noticed some of my light bulbs burnt out :) oy, also that the lamp is covered w/dust...

dio mio, I truly hope my abuelita isn't looking down from heaven at this moment :)

See my doll way on the right, poor thing, she is one of my projects in waiting...

In Closing, I think this lil wall my McDreamy did for me says it all, don't you?

You know, I loved this movie long ago called Mr. Wonderful, with Matt Dillion, I for the longest time called my husband that, maybe that should be his default blog name or at least be in the running :)
